Im Zentrum meiner Malerei steht die reine Farbe. Die Auseinandersetzung mit Farbe und Raum, mit der physischen Präsenz der Farbe auf der Oberfläche zielt darauf ab, die Dimensionen sowohl visuell als auch gedanklich zu erweitern.
Als Material soll die Farbe eine Spannung und einen Ausdruck erzeugen sowie die Empfindung für den realen Lebensraum verstärken.
Es ist eine Einladung zur kontemplativen visuellen Wahrnehmung und eine Gelegenheit zum Nachdenken als einer Reflexion über das eigene Ich, darüber, wer wir sind, was wir tun und was uns umgibt.
The core of my artistic work is color painting. The confrontation with color and space, with the physical presence of the paint on it´s surface is intended to widen the dimensions visually and mentally. The material shall add a tension, an expression, the sensation of a geographical living space. It is an invitation to a contemplated optical reception, an opportunity to a thinking act, reflecting the self, who we are, what we do and what surrounds us.
